A unique and highly technical contract for clients Barrow Borough Council, converting an existing disused graving dock into Barrow’s Dock museum.

This involved constructing a temporary and permanent dam to form the end wall of the dock with suspending steelwork supporting the concrete floors, and curved patent glazing formed a spectacular museum gallery.

Leck then carried out two follow on contracts forming an archives store and new café.
