Working with a Design Team headed by Barrow Borough Council and working with English Heritage, Leck carried out a major refurbishment of Barrow’s famous 45-acre Grade 2 listed park.

Leck carried out 31 individual projects including a new visitors’ centre, refurbishing the Cenotaph, and footpaths, refurbishing the lake bridges, and draining the park lake and refurbishing the lake perimeter.

Leck’s craftsmen and joinery shop also recreated and erected a copy of the Victorian Bandstand, that stood in the park before the second world war.
